kosha (Sanskrit कोश, IAST: kośa), gewöhnlich mit „Hülle“ übersetzt, die Umhüllung des Atman oder des Selbst.
„kośa ist das Projekt von Tarun Jakhodia. Die Musik von Kosa und der vielen Künstler die für Kosa agieren, bietet einen mix aus Downtempo, Acid House, Minimal/Deep-Tech zwischen 80 und 120 bpm, elektronische und doch organische Melodien, tiefe hypnotische, meditative Grooves und solide Kicks mit indischen, arabischen und anderen ethnischen Einflüssen, die wir liebevoll als „spirituelles Deeptech“ bezeichnen – ein Genre, das von kośa geprägt wurde und seine Wurzeln im tiefsten Teil der indischen Underground-Szene hat.
Für uns bei kosa records bietet dieses netzwerk raum, um ideen verschiedener formen miteinander zu verbinden, um kunst um der kunst willen zu machen – nicht um der gesellschaftlichen anerkennung willen. um die regeln der systematischen ausbeutung der energie des künstlers zu brechen und die seele in synchronität zu spüren.

kośa is a soundsmith, the alter ego of Tarun Jakhodia, he brings you a flavour mixing – downtempo, acid house, minimal//deep-tech ranging from 80 to 120 bpm, electronic yet organic tunes, deep hypnotic meditative grooves and solid kicks infused with Indian, Arabic and other Ethnic influences which we beautifully term ’spiritual deeptech‘ a genre coined by kośa, rooted in the deepest part of India’s underground scene.
